This chair is designed for design classrooms where students need to socialize with their peers in order to get feedback on their work and suggestions. The chairs which were being used did not support this activity. This chair enables the stated activity to be performed optimally.

Each chair has a removable backrest that can be put in between two chairs connected with the notches on their sides. An extra backrest can be put halfway below, in between two chairs to function as a shelf. These chairs can also be used in activity based seminars and other places where the work has a routine social aspect to it.
